the rosebud story
Hi! Welcome to Rosebud Financial Wellbeing. I’m Rosie – founder, certified financial coach, mum of 3, coffee lover and DIY enthusiast.
While on maternity leave almost a decade ago now, I realised just how little we learn about money – especially the psychology behind our habits and managing emotions to make smart financial decisions. Understanding this helped me stop swimming against the tide and start working toward financial freedom. Now, I help clients do the same.
I grew up in a household where money was tight more often than it wasn’t. Living through a recession in the 90s as a family we navigated the challenges that unemployment and mental health brought. I understand firsthand the impact that this can have on finances and resiliency and the lasting legacy that this can leave.
Through personal experience and research, then studying human behaviour and undertaking financial coach training, together with ongoing financial planning qualifications, I’ve built a toolkit to help women take control of their money. The good news? You can absolutely turn things around – and I’m here to help!

If the thought of talking about finances makes you feel uncomfortable let me reassure you there are no silly questions, no judgement and absolutely no men in suits here!

My why
While raising my family, I found myself diving into personal finance in every spare moment, all while continuing my NHS role. In 2020, as Covid reshaped life, I took a bold leap and started a postgraduate degree in Behavioural Science alongside work – graduating with an MSc in 2022 and fully stepping into my passion.
Since then, I’ve trained as a Financial Coach (2022), studied with Wise Monkey Coaching (2023), and completed a Financial Abuse Specialist Certification (2024). I’m passionate about healthy financial relationships – whether within ourselves or within partnerships – and this is at the heart of all of my coaching and mentoring. As a lifelong learner and member of a female business founder community, I ensure I continually evolve my skills to support clients and most importantly to allow me to keep loving what I do.
I love learning just as much as I love coaching! Right now, I’m studying for my CII Level 4 Financial Planning qualification – to add a further dimension to my expertise. As well as supporting you with the emotional and behavioural side of money, this also allows me to bring in deeper technical insights and have current knowledge and understanding of the regulated financial advice sector.
Who do I work with?
All women! No matter your age, family setup, current career path or bank balance. I help women build healthy financial habits and rethink money regardless of their starting point. My aim is to support you to feel empowered about finance and making decisions, not stressed!
How financial coaching can help you
As women, we face big life changes and decisions and on average we live longer than men. Many shy away from talking about money or planning for the future, but feeling knowledgeable, confident and secure is absolutely possible.
Finances can feel stressful or overwhelming and the hardest part is just getting started… and if you’re still reading, congratulations – you’ve already taken step one!
